Now that you have registered your domain, what's next?

Accessing My Domain

You can access your domain on REGISTROPR.COM at any time. Click on the Manage your Domain link, and log in with the name of your domain and username/password. From there, you may update your contact info, create sub-users for access to your domain, and update DNS server info.
Please allow 24h for your domain information to be updated into the root whois servers. That means, if you've just created your domain, you will not be able to use it until its information gets updated. If you made a change in your DNS info, you'll need to wait 24h for that information to be updated.

Updating DNS

If you are setting up forwarding to an existing domain or have existing arrangements with your Internet Service Provider (ISP), you will likely need to update your DNS entries. You will need to do the following:
  • Step 1:Have your ISP provide you with the Primary and Secondary Domain Name Server (DNS) names.
  • Step 2:Log onto REGISTROPR.COM and click the Manage your Domain link. Log in with the name of your domain and username/password.
  • Step 3:Click Manage Name Servers
  • Step 4:Replace the name servers with those provided to you by your ISP. You provide the server name, we will verify it is valid and fetch its IP Address.
  • Step 5:Wait 24h for the changes to be updated in the root servers.

Domain Parking

If you're reserving your domain, but are not ready to publish a web site, then this is what you'll want to do. A parked domain will have a web-site which is visible on the world wide web, but nothing else. If you have reserved your domain and are looking to sell it, you'll want to park the name as well.
